SWISS SHORTS COMPETITION
Short films are distinguished by their independence, creativity and courage in moving the boundaries of cinematic expression. Most importantly, they enable upcoming filmmakers to show what intrigues and fascinates them about their world and how they translate this into cinema. Shorts thus bring a glimpse of the cinema of tomorrow. With this in mind, this year’s Swiss Shorts program will bring a selection of the most recent short film production in Switzerland and present the diversity and high quality of its fiction.
This year both traditional shorts and webcast films will feature in the same competition, with the quality of the works being put forward regardless of their distribution model.
